Shuman Plastics Introduces New Packaging for Dyna-Purge^® High-Performance Thermoplastic Purging Compounds

(April 2005) – The Dyna-Purge Division of Shuman Plastics, Inc., Buffalo, New York announces the introduction of new packaging for its line of 10 Dyna-Purge^® thermoplastic purging compounds. According to the company, Dyna-Purge is available in four standard packaged quantities:

Gaylord Boxes (1000 lbs./453.6 kg)

for high-production, large volume users

250-lb. (113.4-kg) Drums

for moderate-to-heavy use and convenient in-plant handling.

55-lb. (25-kg) Boxes

engineered to meet skid specifications for export (Dyna-Purge is manufactured in the U.S.A. and distributed worldwide), but also for light use of a specific grade.

10-lb. (4.5-kg) Boxes

for packaging no-charge trial samples.

Packaged ready-to-use (no mixing or soaking required), Dyna-Purge cleans injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding equipment thoroughly on the first pass, cutting downtime, reducing scrap, and lowering overall purging costs while boosting productivity, Dyna-Purge states. The new packaging clearly labels the Dyna-Purge grade enclosed and includes information about applications (by resins and/or processing equipment) and the processing temperature range (in Fahrenheit and Celsius) for all 10 grades.
