Shuman Plastics Appoints Vin Industries to Represent Dyna-Purge® Thermoplastic Purging Compounds in India

(October 2005) – Shuman Plastics, Inc., Buffalo, New York, USA announces the appointment of Vin Industries as the new distributor of Dyna-Purge® thermoplastic purging compounds in India. Josephine (Joie) Komarmi, Dyna-Purge International Business Manager, made the announcement.

Established in 1996 by Vipin Sharma as a supplier of desiccant additives, Vin Industries provides raw materials to the plastics and rubber industries in India. The company manufactures specialty foams (PE, EVA), recycles thermoplastics and rubber, and also supplies niche additives including desiccants for moisture removal, compatibilizers, coupling agents, impact modifiers, and adhesion promoters. Vin Industries has manufacturing facilities in Udaipur, Banswara, and Greater Noida, It has a marketing and distribution network throughout India including marketing manpower in 13 cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Madurai, Kanpur, Nagpur, Jaipur, Patna, and Gwalior.

Mr. Bharat Sharma and Mr. Rohit Mahajan will manage sales of Dyna-Purge for Shuman Plastics.

The Dyna-Purge line includes 10 compounds for cleaning injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, compounding, and blown film production equipment for resin, color and formulation changes, routine and preventive maintenance, and prior to machine shutdown and start-up. Introduced more than 20 years ago, Dyna-Purge is reported to improve purging efficiency and performance while lowering purging costs and increasing productivity.

According to the company, Dyna-Purge cleans on the first pass, minimizing machine downtime and reducing scrap. It is non-chemical and non-abrasive, so it does not cause wear on machines and is safe for operators and safe for disposal. In addition, the company states, Dyna-Purge is packaged ready to use. There is no soaking or mixing required. It is introduced at the resident resin processing temperature and RPM speed. Thermally stable, Dyna-Purge has unlimited shelf life.
