DYNA-PURGE® ANNOUNCES NEW & IMPROVED DYNA-PURGE® X ENGINEERED PURGING COMPOUND

Significantly lowers total cost-to-purge compared to other commercial purging products, according to laboratory trial results – also, ideal for purging bioplastics.

(June 2009) — The Dyna-Purge® Division of Shuman Plastics, Inc., Depew (Buffalo), NY, has introduced the company's latest technology breakthrough -- New & Improved Dyna-Purge® X engineered purging compound for use in a broad range of extrusion applications. Dyna-Purge® is exhibiting at NPE, Booth #S17110, South Hall, June 22 - 26, 2009 in Chicago, IL.

According to Tim Cutler, Dyna-Purge® Business Manager, the enhanced formulation of new Dyna-Purge® X offers dual action scrubbing for cleaning the toughest areas, while lowering purging costs. "Lab trials comparing chemical and mechanical (abrasive) brands with mechanical (non-abrasive) Dyna-Purge® X showed a dramatic reduction in total cost-to-purge using our new grade," he explained. "The end result was a cost-to-purge of $2.81 for Dyna-Purge® X versus the chemical product at $18.46, and the mechanical (abrasive) purging compound at $6.23."

Tim Cutler noted that customers who had been using the original Dyna-Purge® X have made the switch to the new and improved version and have experienced even better purging results.
